Eric Schubert is an internationally recognized genealogist and genetic genealogist and the founder of ES Genealogy. He began researching his own family history at the age of ten, and what started as a personal interest has become a lifelong career helping people discover their roots and reconnect with family members.
Schubert is also known for his work in investigative genetic genealogy. He became the youngest person to assist law enforcement in solving cold cases using genetic genealogy, working alongside state and local agencies on several groundbreaking investigations. His work has contributed to the resolution of the murders of Marise Chiverella—the oldest cold case in Pennsylvania solved through investigative genetic genealogy—as well as the cases of Lee Rotatori, Edna Laughman, and more.
His work has been featured on A&E’s Cold Case Files, Bloodline Detectives, and On the Case with Paula Zahn. He has also been featured by People, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Good Morning America, and other national and international media outlets.
