Hunter Jinks-Kurtz is a singer-songwriter born in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii where his upbringing helped shape his sound and approach to music. Drawing inspiration from early 2000s emo, R&B, and a touch of western twang, he developed a passion for honest songwriting and storytelling. His musical journey has included earning a Golden Ticket on American Idol and taking part in Artist Spotlight showcases with The Voice.
Matt Wheeler is a songsmith, a poet with a guitar, and a storyteller. He paints pictures with words and specializes in songs based on classic works of literature, including the works of Lewis, Tolkien, and Hugo.
Nashville-based touring songwriter / looping guitarist Jeff Miller uses looping technology to weave instrumental and vocal tapestries into his songs, which run the gamut from pop and rock to folk and jazz. Tonight, you’ll get to hear him in a rare sans-loops performance.
His music has been used by CBS Sports and Napster, and he has appeared on America’s Got Talent and syndicated national television.
“Armed with only an acoustic guitar, Jeff Miller uses looping pedals to create rhythm tracks, backing vocals, extra guitar parts — all live, all on the fly. Fortunately, Miller’s not just some gearhead, but a talented songwriter with a strong, clear voice — in evidence on [‘Can You Hear the Music?’].”
