NakedEye Ensemble

Last year NakedEye excited Lancaster area audiences with the premiere of “Time’s Illusion: Stories in Sound”, an acoustic space-time event created in collaboration with The National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA.  This year the NakedEye Ensemble, an electro-acoustic octet, is unveiling their latest commissioning project, “Two-Headed Dragon”, in their return to Zoetropolis! “Two-Headed Dragon” is a colorful, sparkling, instrumentally idiosyncratic, and creatively entertaining series of new works for two pianists and NakedEye’s unique cast of dynamic instrumentalists along with some unexpected and unusual instruments; toy pianos, melodica and a bicycle? (yes, a bicycle!). The concert features Ju-Ping Song and guest pianist Kathleen Supové at the keys, and the fearless NakedEye musicians performing new music from composers Rusty Banks, Richard Belcastro, Angélica Nerón, Molly Joyce, and Randy Woolf. For more information on this and other exciting projects and events visit www.nakedeyeensemble.com
