The noir style crime thriller eMOTIONs (2023) is the second narrative short film from screenwriter & director Joey Snyder. A lifelong storyteller, he began writing comic books as a child, which progressed to short stories as a teenager and eventually screenplays as a young adult. He founded Humedia Studios in 2023 to produce his scripts, and won the Bob Hoffman Award for screenwriting later that year for his debut narrative short film, Hurry Up & Wait (2023). Joey takes a special interest in producing genre-fluid films that address relevant societal issues and explore the human condition.
