She conjures enthusiasm for life by practicing pleasure and play, living simply and seeking joy. Being a parent, organizer, creator and adventurer are a few roles that allow her to explore the depths of her pleasure and joy. A visionary, project starting, wandering, community weaving, overlover and outdoor junkie, she utilizes experience and space curation, outdoor adventure, land base work , wellness rituals and being a creator as the root of her community organizing efforts to enhance the quality of life among Black folk. Her work centers Black women, children and queer folks and meets at the intersection of justice, healing, quality of life and Black liberation.

She is the Principal of Blue in Green Consulting Group, which specializes in cultivating experiences, spaces, and feels. She co-founded Red, Bike and Green-ATL and Black Freedom Outfitters, both entities centering BlackJoy in the outdoors. She also is on the leadership team for Radical Adventure Riders and a co-founder of the Untokening.

She is really into surfing, sailing, anything involving a hammock, reading and all things leisure and luxurious. She has cultivated tribe and home in Atlanta with her two children, but belongs to no place as she is a wander with almost 40 countries visited on 6 continents. She wants to be a writer, sailor, homesteader, sanctuary creator and so much more, let’s see where this lifetime will take her.
