The Pedaling Revolution- The Common Wheel Speaker Series

Coming on May 24

Run Time: 120 min.

The Common Wheel just started a really cool thing. They’ll be hosting speakers each month at Zoetropolis focusing on how BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color) and FTWN-B (femme, transgender, women and non-binary) folks are changing the cycling world!

August 23rd: Laura Pauls-Thomas (she/her/hers)

Laura Pauls-Thomas believes that bicycles are a tool for healing ourselves, our communities, and our planet. Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, Laura is an outdoorist, storyteller, and advocate. Laura is a leading member of the Global Shapers Lancaster Hub and works with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) East Coast as Communications and Donor Relations Associate. When she’s not riding her bicycle, Laura can be found sewing with upcycled materials or spending time with her spouse, Andrew, and dog, Pinto.

Special thanks to the Lancaster County Community Foundation for making this series possible. Join us monthly on the 4th Monday and get inspired.
