Join us for the launch of The Dreaming Gourd, the work of native Lancaster County creative, Victoria Mowrer. The Dreaming Gourd has been called “a re-creation myth for our times”. It is a story of loss and love and hope.  In this case the loss is a detachment from the love of nature and what can happen then. Victoria wrote and illustrated the story.  Her words and images have created a tale that is being enjoyed by all ages.  One reader says “I think everyone should not only read it but reread it to help stay mindful of our actions and what’s important. What a beautiful gift you have given the world!” Local musicians were moved to compose and perform a delightful interpretation of The Dreaming Gourd.  From that composition a short video has been created that will appear on the big screen at Zoetropolis.  An enchanted experience awaits.  The action begins at 3.
