This year we are performing onstage, and holding the event live (and will have an online component that lasts further into the afternoon) and in person, with guests and other musicians. Donations will be accepted at the door, and of course, with a Go Fund Me page. The event raises money for the YWCA’s “Sexual Assault Prevention and Couseling Program,” which supports victims in many aspects of recovery, from the practical concern of providing new clothes after theirs are left at the hospital for forensic evidence, to the deep need to process and begin the process of recovery in the counseling program.

At noon, Bumbada opens the event and plays, followed by “It Makes A Village” “got” talent, when guests who have signed up will perform their 5-7 minute pieces and the audience (both in-person and on facebook live) will vote for their favorites using their donation–and following that, Bobbi Carmitchell and friends will bring their magic to the afternoon.
