In the first film of the series, two filmmakers accept a job to film a house for a client who is attempting to sell it. However, they quickly discover that the house is haunted and their supposedly simple task turns into a terrifying ordeal. 

The Memories We Keep

In the sequel, a character with inside knowledge of a murder that occured at the house keeps it from his girlfriend. He invites his best friend to help him uncover the truth, afraid of confronting the reality of what happened. The secrets and horrors of the past begin to unravel, and the trio must confront the inevitable consequences of their actions.
