Synopsis: True crime writer Ellison Oswalt (Hawke) discovers a Super 8 projector and film reels in the attic the day he and his family arrive in their new home. The films’ contents suggest the case he’s investigating  may be connected to the greater workings of a serial killer whose crimes may date as far back as the 1960s. Whoever they are, they really hate to let a family live.
